QUICK STARTER PROGRAM
(FREE Private Lesson and Evaluation)

Because children and adults learn differently, Acadiana Karate has developed both a children and adult curriculum. The Children's curriculum to Black Belt was developed for children ages 6-12. The program is designed to give your child a series of victores. It is these series of victories that builds confidence and self esteem.
The curriculum centers on age appropriate self defense as well as developing the focus to concentrate and the discipline to attend class on a regular basis. The curriculum is further broken down into three phases: beginner, intermediate and advanced. Each phase emphasizes a different level of mental concentration and technical skill. Once a child has completed a phase he/she moves to the next level and is challenged more on a physical level
| Our goal at Acadiana Karate is to first establish a positive mind and then develop physical skills with a gradual increase in critique and intensity. Once a child reaches the advanced stage, he/she is required to provide "leadership by example" to the rest of the student body.. |
